The Chamber presents its compliments this is to inform you that we received a letter by the Council of Saudi Chambers (ل.و/ق/3361) dated (7/10/1434) for the Royal Decree No. (31258) dated (19/8/1434) approving the decision of the Council of Ministers No. (260) dated (1/8/1434) approving the arrangements for handling delayed or stalled development al Government projects as annexed to resolution according to the detail contained within and, where paragraph (9) of these arrangements ' implementation of government projects and associated approvals should be within (10) days from the date of completion of all regulatory requirements '. National Committee for contractors wish to inform you that in case of any delay of the competent authority in issuing the permits and approvals associated with the implementation of government projects (10) working days, the contractor is entitled to demand compensation for damages and losses incurred as a result of this.
